This week at I♥faces there’s no judging. It’s a little collection of dessert photos and recipes. Everybody who knows me knows, I’m absolutely addicted to desserts, especially chocolate. So it’s not a surprise that I was making my little chocolate crossies.
Here’s what you need
2 packs of Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
one pack of slivered almonds
one pack of chopped pecans
one spoon of honey
slowly melt the chocolate over a waterbath
roast the almonds and nuts
be careful, they burn easily
add everything to the chocolate and give it a good stir
make little bite sized chocolate crossie mountains and let them cool and dry
Now here’s what happened while I was busy taking photos
licking chocolate off a spoon is one of the best things about childhood. Or just one of the best things ever.
